Help For Those who Suffer from Cold Sores!

Cold Sores or fever blisters are caused by the herpes simplex virus. These blisters are commonly brought on by stress, sun, alcohol, sugar or just being run down.
They usually begin with a tiny red spot on the lips or around the nostrils which turn into small blisters. These blisters will form a scab that can take one to two weeks to heal. The sores will often cause quite a bit of pain and discomfort not to mention the embarrassment of their appearance.

Unfortunately there is no drug that can cure cold sores. But we at Dr. Hardin's office have a Laser treatment that in many cases can cut the healing process down to 2 to 3 days!
I wanted to share this information with you. I myself suffer from these horrible sores. At the very first sign of an outbreak I have Dr. Hardin treat the area with a brief laser treatment for two days a row. The laser therapy is not painful; you barely notice that Dr. Hardin is doing anything! Usually, by the 3rd or 4th day of the outbreak, I am completely healed with no discomfort or pain!
