What can I expect from my Juvéderm treatment?
Before your Juvéderm treatment at our Dayton area medspa, our skincare experts will help guide you to the best treatment plan and Juvéderm products to achieve your desired results. During the treatment, your skincare specialist will mark the areas to be treated, and then administer the injections of Juvéderm to achieve the look you envision. Your skin will then be gently massaged to ensure an even distribution of the product. Juvéderm also contains a small dose of lidocaine which helps with any pain that might occur at the injection site.
After your Juvéderm treatment, you may experience slight bruising or swelling at the injection site which should disappear soon. Most patients see results immediately after the treatment or after the swelling has decreased. It is advised that you avoid sun exposure, wearing makeup, drinking alcohol, and strenuous activity for at least the first 24 hours after your Juvéderm treatment.
