A smile just isn't a smile when teeth are missing. Gaps from missing teeth create a host of problems including difficulty speaking and eating, and jawbone deterioration – as well as embarrassment and self-esteem issues. Modern advances in dental technology make it possible to completely restore your smile, whether you have lost one or many teeth. At Hardin Advanced Dentistry, we create dentures and partial dentures that are affordable, lifelike and provide a higher level of comfort for the patient.

To find out more about our Cincinnati dentures and partials in the Mason, Ohio area, please contact Hardin Advanced Dentistry today by calling (513) 216-2935 to speak with one of our experienced cosmetic dentists.

What is
a Partial?

A partial denture, commonly referred to simply as a partial, consists of multiple teeth on a gum colored base. The replacement teeth may be in a row, or spread across the base to fit like a puzzle with your existing teeth. A partial is normally secured with clips or brackets and, unlike a bridge, a partial is removable. Dr. Tara Hardin, is in the top one percent of dental practitioners in education and training, and is a true artist in her field. The perfect size, shape and color match are important to the confidence you feel when you smile.

What is
a Denture?

A full denture is a complete top or bottom row of teeth affixed to a gum-colored base. Dentures can be closed or open palate and may require denture adhesive to hold them in place. We offer the most advanced technology when crafting custom dentures for our patients, including “cosmetic dentures,” a specialized system that works to support the facial muscle structure, promote jawbone health, and makes it possible to avoid a “sunken” appearance. Whether you choose cosmetic dentures or traditional dentures in Mason, Ohio, your comfort and quality of life – as well as an aesthetic smile – all matter to us.

Implant-Supported
Dentures and Partials

Dental implants are small titanium posts, securely anchored into the natural jawbone. If you prefer a secure full or partial denture and do not want to constantly deal with clips or adhesives, implant-supported dentures are the perfect solution. In a brief surgery, our cosmetic dentist implants titanium posts that hold your dentures in place. With implant-supported dentures, you won't have to worry about your denture slipping or shifting. Your teeth look and function just like beautiful, straight, natural teeth.

The Right Dentures
Transform Your Smile

As dentures and partial dentures are custom-created for each individual person, the skill and artistry of your cosmetic dentist can make a dramatic difference in the appearance, comfort and fit. If you are unhappy with your existing dentures and are experiencing difficulties with eating, speaking or are suffering from discomfort, we can help. The right set of dentures, perfectly fitted to your mouth and gums, are less likely to rub, cause irritation, slip or look too large or too small for your facial structure.

We take great pride in our ability to create dentures and partial dentures that look natural and function correctly. From cosmetic dentures to partial dentures to implant overdentures, we are here to help you make the right decision for you. We offer prospective patients a consultation and invite you to visit our spa-like offices to meet with us and find out more.

Types of Dentures

Several types of our Mason dentures are available, including:

  • Conventional dentures: These dentures are fully removable and fit over the gum tissue. The process may involve a period of healing if teeth have been extracted. During that period, you will have temporary dentures.
  • Immediate dentures: You wear these dentures while your gum tissue heals after teeth are extracted.
  • Implant dentures: These dentures are secured to titanium posts that have been implanted into your jaw. They look and function like natural teeth and have many important advantages, including appearance, comfort and stability.
  • Cosmetic dentures: These dentures are specifically created to help maintain healthy jaw muscles. When teeth are lost, the jawbone slowly diminishes, creating a sunken, older look. The cosmetic dentures are seated upon the jaw and adjoining facial muscles, giving facial support, with the side benefit of relaxing facial muscles for a more lifted, youthful appearance.
  • Overdentures: Some of your teeth may be healthy and you may not require a full set of new teeth. An overdenture can fit over the remaining healthy teeth.
  • Partial dentures: These are removable dentures that replace a tooth or several teeth. The replacement teeth are affixed to a gum-colored base, filling the space, with a clasp that attaches to your natural teeth.
