Smile Makeover FAQ's

What is a smile makeover?

A smile makeover can be as simple as whitening or as complex as rebuilding the bite with surgery, orthodontics, and/or restorative dentistry. Oftentimes, it’s somewhere in between. Many smile makeovers can be done with Invisalign if necessary, teeth bleaching, and bonding or veneers. A makeover in your smile can mend patchwork dentistry you may have had in the past, creating harmony and balance to not only your smile but also your face.

How long will a smile makeover take?

A consultation is the first step so we can familiarize ourselves with you, and you with us. This will be done while looking at photos of your teeth and discussing your overall concerns: what you like, what you don’t like, and what you want to change. Each case is different and depending on the complexity, some makeovers can take a few weeks whereas others may take a couple years. The majority take a few months.

What are the benefits of a smile makeover?

Restoring function, beauty, health, and confidence can all be expected after completing a smile makeover. Your teeth will not only be improved, so will your overall confidence and happiness. Being happy with yourself will elevate your relationships with friends, family, loved ones, and even in the workplace.

Am I a candidate for a smile makeover?

You might be! Did you know a great smile can change your emotions, your brain chemistry, and your overall well-being? It creates opportunities in life you never knew you had. It makes others want to be around you. Are you sad or depressed, or feel like you’re in a rut? Are you happy with your smile? If you smiled more, would you have a different mindset? Patients become different people after a smile makeover – it shows not in their teeth but in their eyes, their confidence, their energy, and their demeanor. Their only regret is wishing they had done it sooner. What are you waiting for?
