Hardin Advanced Dentistry offers consultations for both new and existing patients! This consultation will allow you to meet with Dr. Tara Hardin and our team and decide if we're a good fit for your needs.
At this visit, we'll take intraoral and extraoral photographs and display them (magnified) on a screen right next to your dental chair. These photographs will allow you to see what we see, and they'll help us make recommendations for improving your smile.
What Happens
During a Consultation?
At your consultation, you'll spend some one-on-one time speaking with Jill, our Treatment Coordinator, and Dr. Tara Hardin. Dr. Hardin will listen to your concerns and make suggestions that will help you achieve your goals. This will be your opportunity to tell us anything you'd like us to know and ask questions.
Following your consultation, we'll schedule your cleaning and next visits.
Comprehensive Exams
and Cleanings
At your comprehensive exam, we'll evaluate your teeth and gums using advanced diagnostic technology. This exam will allow us to prevent future dental issues, while we diagnose current issues and resolve them before they escalate. Our exams and cleanings are extremely thorough and may include:
- Medical history and blood pressure screening
- Oral cancer screening
- Full periodontal exam
- Sleep apnea screening
- DIAGNOdent laser cavity detection
- Laser treatment for gum disease
- Digital X-rays
- Prophy jet polishing (great for stain removal)
- Ultrasonic scaling (no scraping!)
- Home care instruction
During your visit you can take advantage of our comfort amenities, which include memory foam chairs, televisions, noise-cancelling headphones, hot towels, and a refreshment center.
