Lumineers Cincinnati, Ohio

Cosmetic Dentistry in Cincinnati, Mason and Northern Kentucky

Our Cincinnati Lumineers®, like porcelain veneers, are thin, tooth-colored shells that can be placed over the front of your teeth to correct many common cosmetic dental problems. However, Lumineers® are actually thinner than some dental veneers, allowing them to restore the appearance of a tooth or teeth with little-to-no removal of natural tooth enamel.

About
Lumineers®

Each set of Lumineers® are custom-manufactured for the individual patient, crafted from a mold of the existing teeth for a perfect fit and appearance. You have the opportunity to see how your new teeth will look when placed on our advanced digital imaging system.

When placing custom porcelain veneers, the teeth are prepared by removing a very thin layer of enamel. While this allows veneers to fit perfectly and look incredibly natural, it is not the appropriate treatment for some patients. Lumineers® could be an alternative that gives you the bright, even smile you envision for yourself.

Stained, Uneven
or Oddly-Shaped
Teeth – Resolved

Your smile can be your greatest asset, personally, socially, and in business. If you feel your teeth are unattractive, you may feel shy about your smile and hold back. Lumineers® can help you resolve many cosmetic issues, including badly stained teeth, uneven teeth, chips and cracks, gaps, or oddly-shaped teeth, restoring them to a very natural look that gives you the confidence to share your smile proudly.

Are Lumineers® Right for Me?

Lumineers® are so thin it is not necessary to remove any natural tooth enamel when placing them over your teeth. This can decrease the risk of tooth sensitivity. Another advantage is that the treatment can typically be reversed without damage to your natural teeth. If you have any of the following issues, take the time to schedule a consultation to find out if Lumineers® can give you a more beautiful smile:

  • Old, unsightly, crowns or bridges
  • Stained or discolored teeth
  • Tetracycline staining
  • Chips and cracks
  • Spacing problems, gaps
  • Misshapen teeth
  • Oddly-shaped teeth
  • Small teeth

If you live in the Mason, Ohio area and would like to learn if Lumineers® can give you the perfect smile you envision, please contact Hardin Advanced Dentistry by calling (513) 398-4448 today to schedule a consultation.

Because they are so thin, Lumineers® are not suitable for more pronounced cosmetic issues and may not be sufficient to cover severe staining or discoloration.

The best candidates for Lumineers® should be free of gum disease and other oral health issues including tooth decay. If you are suffering from an oral health issue, treatment is necessary before we can place your Lumineers®. The best way to learn if Lumineers® are ideal for your smile is through a one-on-one consultation with our skilled team of caring professionals at our Mason, Ohio office.

To schedule your initial consultation for one of the best Lumineers® Cincinnati has to offer, please contact Hardin Advanced Dentistry online, or call us directly at (513) 398-4448 today. We work with patients throughout Cincinnati, Dayton, and Mason, Ohio, as well as the communities in Southeast Indiana and Northern Kentucky.

Metal Free Dentistry FAQ's

What is the difference between lumineers and veneers?

Lumineers is a trademarked brand name for porcelain veneers. They are the company who makes them in their own high production lab. Think of it like Kleenex and tissues. If you want the Lumineers brand, you are required to use their lab. The labs we use at Hardin Advanced Dentistry are less focused on volume and more on quality. The lab technicians are highly trained, world renowned, and make much more esthetic, natural veneers.

Do Lumineers look fake?

That would depend on who you ask. If you’re looking for a monochromatic all white look with no subtleties of natural looking teeth (think Steve Harvey), then Lumineers might be for you. If you want a life-like result with natural color, great morphology, texture, and translucency, then porcelain veneers made from one of the many labs we use will be better suited for you.

Do Lumineers fall off?

No, Lumineers and porcelain veneers are bonded onto the tooth. They shouldn’t ever fall off if proper protocols are followed by a cosmetic dentist who has the necessary training.
